Great place but they've changed the menu and I'm not as impressed with it to be honest.
Nice local pub, too often are they out of food options listed on the menu.
A warm welcome for visitors. Food is well priced. Nice atmosphere and well decorated.
Lovely local. Good pint. Set in historic grounds. Seems to have escaped the ruthlessness of modern refurbishment to retain some of it's olde charm.
Christmas festive meal I can only give 3* due to the fact the prawns hadn't fully defrosted and a little too much veg, smaller and crispy veg would be nicer. On the + great beer selection and staff very helpful, improvement on the food and definitely a 5* from me.
